The spirit of Revival – and the excitement of classic motor racing!
Friday 13th to Sunday 15th September 2013
Visitors to Goodwood Revival will be transported back in time to motoring’s heyday of the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
The iconic event is famous for its cars, fashion and aviation and visitors will be able to leave the modern world behind and step back in time to the bygone era.
Motoring fans will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with motorsport royalty who will be among the 140,000 visitors at this prestigious event. Think legendary British racing drivers Sir Stirling Moss, Richard Attwood, John Surtees and Derek Bell to name just a few.
One of the main attractions is the recreation of the classic Earl’s Court Motor Show, which is presented by the RAC. Within this famous exhibition, the RAC will be embracing the 1960s and featuring an iconic scene from the classic 60’s film, The Italian Job. Visitors will be able to have their photo taken with our very own Michael Caine lookalike.
The RAC will also be promoting our Classic Car Insurance, our new telematics product ‘Advance’ and, of course, RAC breakdown cover.
RAC Patrols will also be on hand offering complimentary assistance in the car parks for everyone.
And to top all of this off, we're running a prize draw to win an original British 1960s Morris Mini – a real classic! For your chance to win click here. Terms and conditions apply.
